One of the challenges that I love is creating an expansive sense in a small space.

I got inspired to think small after a surgery in December and the subsequent limitations I experienced in recovering from that.

I think between new pandemic patterns, living in the shrinking parameters of my body and its own dis-regulated and challenging ways, and still experiencing larger longings, painting small, free, and on paper, was just the right thing for me.
